Thomas Clausen´s own comments
'Rain' was the first of the two Lps I recorded with my very first steady jazz piano trio: my trio with N.H.Ø.P. and Aage Tanggaard. The group existed from 1979 to 1983, and it marked for me the beginning of something which has been imortant for me: the interplay with a bass-player and a drummer in the smallest unit possible. It was also the first step towards more international recognition, as one can get a sense of from the international reviews.
